We welcome you into the world of Mātrikā's Muse: A Journey to Awakening Through the Senses—a story of devotion, lineage, and self-discovery that explores the intersection of spiritual devotion, feminine mysticism, and the fierce beauty of becoming. Set against the inner landscapes of longing, betrayal, and grace, the story unfolds between two women—one older, one younger—as they navigate the liminal spaces between lineage and selfhood.
CONVERSATIONS WITH LARA
Mātrikā's Muse is not just a book. It’s an offering.
A poetic unfolding of the Divine Feminine told through pulsating prose, mythic imagery, and a transmission that lives beyond the page.
This intimate book tour invites you to gather in person with Lara Sanderson—writer, seeker, and lifelong student of yogic wisdom—for evenings of reading, reflection, and resonance.
Whether you are a longtime seeker, newly curious, or simply someone drawn to beauty and depth, we hope to meet you here.

About the Author
Lara Sanderson writes from the garden—both literally and figuratively. Her work emerges from decades of inner practice, a lineage carried through blood and spirit, and a desire to honor truth without performance.
Before devoting herself fully to a yogic life, Lara spent over fifteen years working across nonprofit organizations, private industry, and political organizing. She contributed in research, communications, development, and government relations, and was awarded a Marshall Memorial Fellowship in 2006 for emerging leaders in transatlantic relations. She is also a graduate of The Center for Women & Democracy and a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit Universities.
Formerly a public teacher of yoga and spiritual study, Lara now dedicates herself to the quiet, powerful labor of writing and embodiment. Mātrikā’s Muse: A Journey to Awakening Through the Senses is her debut book.
